I have spent my career designing brands, products, and digital tools for people trying to build something real. From early days working out of a garage to partnering with growing teams, the throughline has always been the same: make things clearer, simpler, and easier to use.
I care deeply about thoughtful design and the small decisions that shape how products feel in everyday use. My goal is to take complexity off your plate so you can focus on running your business, trusting that the design is doing its job quietly and well.
I live in Michigan with my wife Sara and our three daughters. Over the years, I have worked across brands, products, apps, and websites, partnering closely with teams navigating growth, change, and complexity.
Most of my time is spent thinking about visual systems, interface design, and how small decisions add up to better user experiences. I am drawn to work that values clarity over noise and usefulness over novelty.
My favorite food group. I’ve traveled across the USA searching for the very best and love making my own at home.
I own an adventure motorcycle and each summer I go on an epic multi-state road trip with friends.
I only (mostly) watch movies at the theater. Something about the popcorn and the darkness.
I miss living in beautiful Bend, Oregon. The mountains and trees are stunning!
My adopted home state. My family lived in Tennessee for 12 years – I still miss those fall colors!
Since I was a little guy, I’ve loved the beautiful outdoors and camping (glamping) with my family.
